Sunday is a day of gratitude in our household.
Sunday is the one day in the week (when possible) that we spend a portion of our day at a wonderful NA meeting entitled "Gratitude". It's a day when the sun feels extra warm and the breeze feels extra cool. On my first vacation in years.
My gal has given me authorization to "out" her anonymity. You see, she is an addict. Well, no not NOW, she's not an active addict. On July 21st she will be clean for 7 years. My heart is as satisfied as my tummy
I don't know if it's just me or if there are others out there like me, but while I've found myself very happy at times in my life, my heart, the poor thing, has just never ever really felt completely satisfied.
