Where is society heading? Is it a ball on a string, making a lot of motion but going nowhere. Or, is it a projectile, moving forward but declining. What about a richter scale; seeming to move yet stay still. To even ask that question requires further analysis. What do you mean by progress or moving forward? Debating debating. Nothing is ever final
