The past week and a half or so I've been working on a brand new achievement: [Clean Up This Pigsty!] (Gain Exalted Status with Wife faction)
So I have been working on the quests:

[Clearing A Path] (Remove 5 [Pile of Laundry] from around the washer/dryer area)
[Conquering The Cave] (Kill all Piles of Trash and use the [Broom of Mighty Cleaning] ( Read more... )

When I was at MACE back in Nov. I picked up a t-shirt for her in the dealer room that is totally black with just the words [Epic Mount] in purple on the front. :}

It does seem to make housework more palatable to think of it in terms of RPG quests. Now if I only got Gold from doing it...

I'd dated a severe schizophrenic (sp?) once ... They would either only play video games, lose themselves in a book, *OR* view the world in a way that, well -- lets just say it didn't coincide with reality -- their views, their voices in the head -- you name it.

After some time of trying I equated the world to an RPG - quests, jobs, the whole 9 yards ...and slowly but surely, they managed to find a certain "Reality" and for a time interact and see the world for what it was, and understand the voices being aspects of their own persona as opposed to seperate internal entities.

life ...tis the greatest RPG of `em all!

Adorable! You know, I was just telling a story about you the other day. It involved a song about reindeer and what's on their undersides. You continue to be a legend to people who have never met you. And now you will be Exalted!

I remember that song. I still tell stories about you as well...something about a copy of the necronomicon... ;}

Take care of yourself all the way out there in the rockies - I think it's awesome that you made it out there and are happy. I'm really proud of you, you'll always have a friend 'back east'.
