the idea: post about (one of) your favorite supreme court decisions. (not necessarily your favorite because you agree, but for any number of reasons.) why? to publicize decisions other than roe v. wade. why? allegedly that's the only one sarah palin knows. plus, constitutional law! what could be more fun

Actually, I suspect that Palin knows all about eminent domain. When she was mayor of Wasilla they seized land for a sports complex. Or well, I guess they started building on land that they didn't have clear title to and the land eventually needed to be seized through eminent domain because they couldn't come to an agreement with the owners.
