This was so lovely. It truly made my heart smile. It's so neat how we both utilize our pyschic fangirl link, create a fic with all the same basic elements, but have a completely different story and take on it ( ... )

Oh, I wanted to add a thought that I just came up with and that could add to character introspection for the sequel your writing to my piece. Sephiroth never thought that anyone would ever weep for him let alone be willing to go as far as sacrifice themselves for him. Granted, he and Hotaru had close ties with another (a.k.a love and sex) but he never actually thought their bond was that strong or rather never realized its strength. Just some food for thought. ^_^ I'd love it if you could work that in somehow, but if not that's okay. I'll find a way to do that in another fic. I'm hoping though, maybe our PFG link will kick in, and you'll totally see and understand where I'm coming from.

Oooh, I see where you're going with this... in this case, my PFG hadn't QUITE gone off, but that's because in my fanon verse for them, they did all the sacrificing for each other before/at the same time as the love and sex, hence they already sort of "know" about it (not that it isn't very precious still). ;-D As such, sadly, this time PFG didn't go off as I didn't have the same context as you (not that I disagree, not in the slightest, and I can totally see where you're coming from now I have the actual context to place it to).

Hmm, not sure how much of it I'll be able to work in without some substantial reworking in some parts, but... I'll see what I can work in there. ;D
