I took a couple of people off the FL who never update, never comment, or whose identity I just can't place. I've read a few volumes, but I don't know if I would really call myself fan. I like the genre though, and I keep meaning to read more ...

In part I like the way his hair is waving! It's really funny!

It's a series where the anime really matches up to the manga, too, in my opinion. Every now and then you'll find the DVDs for incredibly low prices (I've seen them as cheap as $7--the anime wasn't popular at all in North America, it seems), and the seiyuu work is fantastic, so you might want to consider picking it up some time. :) (And yes, for some bizarre reason they made Hayashida's hair pretty much animate.)
