for some reason (which i will not go into at the moment) i was googling the term "muffin tinning". i ended up discovering some amusing (to me, anyway) terminology from solid-state physics: "muffin-tin approximation", "muffin-tin potential" and "muffin-tin orbital". and no i don't really understand what they mean.

what are the signs of a rabbit that is possibly dying of old age? my dad called me yesterday and said that his (at least 7 year old) rabbit has hardly been eating the past few days...not even his daily half banana treat. he did perk up a small bit and eat some nibbles of cabbage and food pellets last night. he is drinking normally

to be honest, it's really tough to know. rabbits, being prey animals, are good at hiding problems. if he hasn't been eating for at least a few days, and if he is noticeably less active, i would recommend a vet visit. it could be any number of things, and it's really impossible to know if it's just old age or something fixable.
