I am listening to "My Stroke of Insight," by a neuroanatomist who had a severe stroke (but who recovered apparently fully). No thanks! I just had flashbacks to an old boss (former Navy Corpsman) driving me to the emergency room. I asked him to keep me talking because I could feel the classic symptoms of shock happening. He said "That bad, huh?". I replied "Yeah..." so he told me stories of his worst injury treatments.

But then...I ain't a scientist either! :-D
