Out of curiosity, when people don't comment is it because a) you've been taught to say nothing if you have nothing nice to say, b) you're busy c) you really could care less d) combination of the above?

Pretty banner! Great blend putting the Spaith together. Plus, I'm a total purple-lovin' whore hehe! :)

I've often wondered the same questions that you opened with in this post. Personally, I suck ass at commenting on fics. I think it's because I'm not a writer and it's hard for me to type anything other than "good chap!" But when it comes to graphics, I try to comment whenever I can, because, as a graphic-maker myself, I can actually DESCRIBE what I enjoyed. Hmm...not sure if that makes sense anywhere but in my head.

I figure it's better to make some comment on fics than none, so I usually give the lame "great update!" but I fell like an ass.
