I have no idea what I want to write. There are so many things floating in my head- words, ideas, plans, stories- and sometimes I just feel like I can't get anything out. This year when we watched Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve, Dick Clark looked much older. Even though we assume he never ages. And do you know what the worst part about it was? Since he had that stroke, he can't really talk correctly. And he said "resolution" and it didn't even sound like resolution and then I realized that he is getting older. ( Read more... )

So my dad left on Saturday for Idaho. I miss him already. The Christmas gift for my parents went over pretty well. I'd found a picture of them together taken pretty near after they met in 1979.
