The rain is pouring heavily as a lone girl stands in front of a door with only a jacket to protect her from the rain. One hand holds a box of cake while the other is knocking on the wooden door.
After a few minutes the door was flung open by a middle aged woman who had a knife in her hands, ready to kill. “Why have you come back here?!” she hissed, obviously not pleased with the girl’s appearance. The girl crumpled to the floor, sobbing.
Seeing her own daughter’s tear-stained face, she gave up and pulled her in for a hug, a long one to make up for neglecting her duties as a mother. “You were right.” The girl sobbed. “Cho Kyuhyun is nothing but a bastard.”
The woman said nothing as she continued to pat her daughter’s back. “What’s that.” She gestured to the box, only just realizing its presence. “Cake. I made it for him but… you will eat it right?” The girl shoved the box into her mother’s hand.
“Of course.” The woman smiled. This is the first time her daughter had ever baked a cake and it pleased her to be the first to try it. She took the box and walked to the kitchen. The cake was hard and too sweet but the woman said it was the best thing she ever tasted. She continued to eat until there was nothing left but a few crumbs that had fallen off.
Sungmin smirked; apparently spending too much time with Kyuhyun teaches you to do that.
`
“I’m home.”
The wrinkled man spun around to meet the man. “And there I thought you’d no longer come back.” He said twirling a chess piece in his fingers. “Where is that girl?”
“I have nothing to do with that ungrateful thing.” The boy answered in a cold voice. “I was beginning to think all I’ve ever taught you had been forgotten. How about a friendly game of chess? ””Friendly or not I always win.” He smirked.
“Are you sure? I’ve improved quite a lot since you’ve been gone.” The boy replies with another smirk. “What’s that in your hand?” the boy looks down. “Something you would like.””Really now?” He places the small box on the table and watches in amusement as his father’s eyes widen in delight at the sight of the pink cake. “Who knew you had a thing for strawberry cake.” His father simply ignored his statement.
Kyuhyun smirked, no one did it better than him no matter how infectious his smirk was.
`
“How do we go about feeding this to them?” Sungmin asks for the nth time while drumming her fingers impatiently on the table.
“I still don’t know.” Kyuhyun dryly responds as he continues to stare at the bottle of pink liquid.
“I need a snack break.” Sungmin says and leaves and approaches the counter. “One strawberry cake please.” The lady at the counter stares at her. “Miss, if you don’t mind me asking… this is your fifth strawberry cake already, are you alright?”
“I’m perfectly fine.” Sungmin beams at the lady as she happily walks back with her cake. “Thought of anything yet?”
Kyuhyun frowns. “You do know you’re not helping, right?” Sungmin shrugs as she takes another huge bite of her cake.
“We have to feed this to them right?” Sungmin nods. “Then let’s… cook something!” Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow. “And what will we be cooking?” Sungmin thinks then she looks down at her cake and smiles. “Cake!”
“Do you know how to bake a cake?” “Since you use the internet so much you must’ve come across a website called google, right?” They both exit the shop smiling like a couple of retards. “But we don’t have a kitchen to work in.” Sungmin doesn’t reply but she continues walking, the smile still plastered on her face.
“Where the hell are we?” Kyuhyun looks at the huge white mansion. “My cousin’s house.” Sungmin replies going inside without even bothering to knock. “Are you sure she won’t mind?””Nope. I think she’s probably fucking her boyfriend at his home now.”
When Kyuhyun stepped into the house he felt like he stepped into a hospital. The walls were white. The sofa was white. The carpet was white. The doors were white. Even the dog was white. It seems everyone in Sungmin’s family only knows one colour.
“Are you coming or not?!” Sungmin screams from somewhere in the mansion. Kyuhyun tries his best to navigate the place and ends up landing face first onto the floor when he tumbles down the white stairs. How was he to know there was a stairway since it blended in with the background. “Oh I forgot to tell you, you have to watch your step in this house. There may be stairs or other random white stuff lying around.””Ya think!”

*cough*Potion*cough*
How to make Strawberry Cake:
Take the cake mix and gelatin powder in a big bowl.
“This is easy.” Kyuhyun grabs the specified items and dunks it into a big bowl. “I think we’ll actually succeed!” He praises himself for successfully pouring ingredients into a bowl.
Beat in oil, eggs, water and strawberries.
Pour the mixture into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake it for 30 minutes at 350 F.
Stop baking when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Beat the butter and confectioner’s sugar together for icing.
Spread Strawberries between cake layers and frost top and sides.
Cool and frost with Strawberry icing.
Strawberry Cake is ready
The only step the two were able to complete was the first. “You two are really useless!” The oven screams. “Here, I’ll show you how it’s done.” The oven whistles and the whole kitchen bursts to life. The spoon starts stirring, the oven starts heating and in no time a cake was made.
It wasn’t the best cake in the world, nope not even close, but it was still better than what the two would have come up with. The utensils didn’t stop working though. The knives kept on chopping. The pot kept on boiling. Very soon, they had whipped up a five dish meal.
Kyuhyun and Sungmin had a delightful time eating their meal before they set of on their operation.
`
Years later, their parents agreed to their marriage. They have kids, a girl and a boy. The girl’s a gamer and the boy likes pink. And all the happily ever after rules apply.
Sungmin had just tucked her kids into bed and she immediately dropped onto her own. The kids could be a handful at times. “What are you thinking about?” Her husband asks lying beside her. “You know one of these days they’re going to ask us how we met. What do you think we should tell them then?””Everything.”
A/N: Don’t you want to kill me now. I really couldn’t link it together so here’s my short fail excuse of a last chapter. Mistakes are my fault and comments are appreciated.
