I HAD SUCH A BLAST ILU GAIZ
Wednesday&Thusday
So I had never flown on a plane before so I was excited and nervous. My luggage was exceeding the overweight limit (up to 50lbs is normal, up to 70lbs is overweight and 70+ was exceeding the overweight..mine was 90ishlbs) sobb I made so many buttons. I know next time to make a lot of buttons and airmail them ahead of time T uTb as a result, I left my usual sturdy poles at home (which i would severely regret later on) and my prints to adjust the weight.
My dad drove me to the airport as he was driving my bro and stepmom and himself to work (thankfully we all needed to go to the same direction) and my bro helped me bring my lugagge to the airport and waited with me until he had to go. I checked in by myself and wandered my way through the airport really lost. I'd gotten there pretty early so my comrades Minji and Oka still hadn't arrived so I went through luggage and customs by myself. I was kinda nervous but it went pretty smoothly (I assume I looked like a party girl going to LA for vacay for the beaches and clubbing fff)
Met up with Minj and Oka later and we headed off to board the plane!!! So like the true plane newb that I am, I started snapping photos when we were taking off.

We landed safely!! The rumbling from when the plane first landed though made me nervous haha. Met up with Vick and we all took a taxi to Terri's place and on the way I took more fotos *-*

So we got there (and suspected the taxi driver totally drove in circles to jack up the price) and chillaxed; we got to work on prepping displays and cutting out and chaining keychains.
We also went to go get food! visited In and Out for their burgers..! really good. also went to yogurt place where YOU PAY BASED ON WEIGHT IT WAS THE COOLEST. wish we had one here T_T

We also went to print shit out and build our print display. Terri's mom kindly drove us around that day. We went to Staples close to her house but the printer was down...;; so we went to another one and found that their printer was down too WHAT but he assured us he would get it done to pick up on Thursday/Friday (I don't remember when lmao). We also went to Home Depot to get our table display built.
Terri's mom also treated us to ramen T 3T so kind. it was so effin' good. sadly Minji got the swirly naruto that i wanted in hers and she ate it in front of me like a totally HIDOI PERSON >:I

On Thursday we packed our shit all up to go to Ariel's house.

we also smooshed ourselves illegally into her car too aw yeah B)
we arrived at Ariel's !!!

I also got to meet my Rin who was at Ariel's already O 3O <3 Minj hooked Apple and I together to plot our AoEx cosplays~ we tried them on that night hehe~ we also went to go get Chipotle's on the way. shit is GOOD MAN, GOOD. i didn't know mexican food was so good (i'd..only ever had taco bell if that counts lmao). Also met Sean who was going to drive with us to the con (to help transport 6 artists and 2 cosplayers, in addition to Ariel driving) also terri picked up Niso and Sellite from the airport for our house party!! I bought their friend's chinese R-18 Tiger&Bunny doujin ho ho ho and withheld it from Apple the entire night (I-I DON'T WANT TO BE SAYING I'VE DISTRIBUTED PORN TO MINORS SOB)
Friday
Met Neil while I was still half-asleep lol, who was going to help drive all our luggage to the con too ;__; <3 We drove out to get to the convention!! line-up for AA badges was so ridic slow and then setting up my table was a nightmare. we bought clamps that were too small for the table's thick tabletop AGRHAGFA so dumb. my neighbour kindly got us rope and helped us fasten our display to the table T 3T though it compromised the space on my tabletop. gdi im def bringing my awesome print display next time no matter what :I
sales were alright. I didn't actually count my sales until after the end of the convention on sunday lol. but man I was sooo starving that day Myku and Cindy were tablin' next to me and were hungry as well so I set out to try and find food. Failed. the area we were in stinks; it was so expensive! no fastfood anywhere at least there was an sbx...but still..ugh. I think that day I was the most miserable I've ever been at a convention haha. hungry and lonely.
Oh but I got to meet Fi finally!! what a cute little asian ; 3;!! I also met an old friend, Evan!! met him back in Otakon '09 :D we made plans to hang out after meeting up in Little Tokyo so I could go with Kai, Keely, Kennie, Lena and her little sis Lia to Little Tokyo!! we had ramen IT WAS SO GOOD UNFFF

afterwards we tried to go to kinokuniya but it was closed. 8I then I parted ways with them to go with Evan's group. we went to yogurtland OMNOMNOM
unfortunately our plans fell through as people were getting sleepy and didn't want to do anything. 8'( so evan drove us to his place to drop some people off.

he drove me back home after. some of the house peoples were sleeping, others still awake. Vick was doing a last minute print and Ariel was doing last minute cosplay lol. oh you guys!!
Saturday
we wore our aoex cosplays!! we looked so awesome. <333 Unfortunately we had to split up and I was stuck at the table aloneeee for a while, but then there was an official AoEx gathering at crunchyroll booth where they were doing a trivia show so Terri called me and Vick away from our tables to root on Apple/Rin and Ariel/Mephisto who went up. haha it was so funny. afterwards, Apple came back to my table so I could run off to escape my table duties

I met a whole buncha artists today too and bought a whole buncha stuff *-* I visited Judy to get her sextastic PSG print and KL and Kurot who are so super nice and I was so happy that i got a chance to buy their stuff and they liked my Yukio cosplay T 3T <333 also bought stuff from famous comic artists from tumblr like teaat2am and nogutsnoglory
I'm happy my cosplay family liked hanging out at my table, I totally was at the table only half the time haha. Afterwards, Minji, Neil, Niso, and Sellite went to the Miku concert and the rest of us went home to freshen up for our purikura debut at Cue! hehe. on our way out people kept stopping us for photos!! it was exciting 8D we even got a magazine photograph (tho idr which one..)

Sunday
we cosplayed aoex again~ i still closed down my table afterwards for the AoEx unofficial and official photoshoots NO REGRETS IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

after the official photoshoot, the trivia show began!! I answered 2 questions right and got a file folder and big-ass poster *-* yesssssss for studying wiki the morning of!!!! (the questions I answered right were "what's rin's only special skill: cooking" and "what's the name of rin's sword: koumaken or kurikara")
after the trivia, we wandered back to my table.

also, I finally got to meet Ollie after knowing her for god knows how long!! I gave her stuff and she drew me Cass/Black Bat *-****** she was cosplaying the cutest Robin AND I FORGOT TO GET A PHOTO UGHHHHH /SLAPSELF why am i so forgetfull!!!! and i totally regretted not bring my own robin cos 8'( (couldnt coz of weight restrictions)
later on sunday, Niso and Sellite had to go home, and Ariel had to leave early for a wedding (and Terri left with her)~~ T 3T and when we got home, we went right back out to Forever21 (which was closed) then Target to shop for some last minute clothes for Anohana cosplay on monday!! I wasn't joining in but it was fun to go to target for stuff anyway *-* Ariel came back at midnight, napped and went right back to sewing at 3am for her Menma cosplay O__O such a trooper..

Last day of the convention! last day for sales! I thought that maybe I would actually want to stay to ensure maximum profit but I've been spoiled by my table partner at AN and by my cos fam the past weekend so when they dropped by again in their Anohana glory, I ran off LOL

I ran around and finally met Hino again after 3 years T 3T!!! we walked around the alley together for a bit after I bought her nightwing print and jason print (SO MAD TIM AND DAMIAN SOLD OUT 8() and a couple of buttons. after I approach my table, I decided I should probably come back coz of Menma knocked out behind my table...

lmao Ariel has the oddest habit of being able to sleep anywhere. expected, though, after pulling off 2 all nighters in the weekend for cosplays lol
also I met Saku after all these years of knowing each other!!
anyway, as AX was coming to an end... Fi Myku and I were supposed to have plans afterwards to discuss our not-so-secret Robin fanbook but that sorta failed sine we're all with different parties with different plans 8( so I just traded merch stuff with them and Cindy *-* then I ran off to steal a bunch of Kai's K-ON keychains (but not all of them sob..one day!!) and Keely's prints 8) I managed to steal indirectly Yooani's mini cards from friends who had the balls to ask for print trade T_T makes me wish I had the balls too.
i packed everything up and sean picked me up to go to the car and drive back home, where we had to pack up all our stuff. neil and sean would be leaving that day, ariel's going back to school and the rest of us were going back to terri's place. so it was time to say goodbye 8'((((

we spent the rest of the following week at Terri's place again, with an added Apple!

we taxi'd back to LAX. said goodbye to vick, and headed off back to canada land!!
man i had to go to the washroom so badly but i didn't want to make the people beside me get up (i had a window seat) on the plane. i watched anohana and read pron fics on the flight back 8I departed ways with oka and minji and my dad found me to drive me home. anddddd we're done! yey!!!
