I'm only barely ashamed to admit it but before I left Florida I got up to 170lbs. Granted, I'm 5'9" so it's not horrible but it's flabby and unsightly to me. After I got settled in up here, I decided to do something about it ( Read more... )

Good to hear this, because I'm doing similar things, and it's a nice encouragement to read about your method. I've been 6'5" and 230lb forever, but I know that I need to lose about 20-30lb. I'll take it really slow, but my main goal is to get into habit of exercising. Good luck and keep it going!

And when you say bike - are you cyling outdoors?! If so - go you! as I am a HUGE fan of the outdoor cycling!

I do my MILF X NYE weekly posts and can include my workout regimine if it will help with ideas... since having baby Hiro, I have dropped 59 pounds!! (granted that includes another human, fluids, swelling, and all that yucky girly stuffs)...

But my goal was 135 by NYE and I am hitting it by Halloween... I am only 9 pounds away from my goal and VERY happy about it!

I totally recommend a yoga ball as it helps you extend your crunches and totally is easier on your lower back.
