Its almost 99.9% possible that I will be a High School Band director tomorrow at Toms River High School East.  I will be working with a former student of my time at Lacey (Jess Sanford)  Should be a good time.  We might be in need of a color guard person.  Does anybody know anyone looking for a job. I might also be looking for a marching/music guy/

whats your fees. What do you usually charge? I'm just looking around right now. Probably doing a stock show this year. with possible percussion book written. But i have also been in touch with other guys, I am just lookin around for prices.

sorry, things got busy for me.

fees are *very* negotiable if it's just a percussion book. a) i'm not of the sort of reputation to be picky about it, b) you're a friend so i don't want to haggle and put you in a position of having to figure out how to allocate funds, and c) since i'm not going to be there to know the kids nor do you know much about my writing, i don't want to charge too much for something you don't know much about yet. If we establish a relationship where you really like what i do and want to keep me on, then we can talk about bumping up the pay the following year because now you know what you're getting, you know?

So if i write for you, i'd consider it a trial run. Drop me an email with a figure that you think would be reasonable and is within your budget and a timeline, and we can most likely work things out.
