Hey-- I know what you mean about not being sure if Kerry could do much better, but you can do twice as much damage in 2 terms than you can and 1, and why not give someone else a chance, since Bush has already shown us what he can do and will do. Which of course is to run our country straight into the ground. I dont know, it's just my opinion. Lindsay
yeah i understand what you're saying...and i do agree with you..
no matter which way you look at it, the choice comes down to lesser evilism..
i'm not gonna sit here and say that i'm a "Bush supporter" or a "Kerry supporter" because i have trouble totally siding w/ either of them...but what i do know is that i am a supporter of American democracy...and i'll respect the choice that American citizens have made...whether i agree with it or not.
so you disagree with immediate availability of $20 million in new funding to deliver life-saving drugs to the men and women in the United States living with HIV/AIDS who are waiting today for HIV-related medication or the Clear Skies Initiative that will cut air pollution 70 percent, using a proven, market-based approach that will save American consumers millions of dollars?
i'm not trying to defend Bush by any means, but like I said....they both have their good/bad points.
Hey-- I said for the most part. Along with that, Kerry does have bad points too like you said. I think he went back on a lot of things he said and he campainged for/against. I think sometimes it may have been him trying to say things that he thought the people wanted to hear. But again, thats just my opinion, which is not necessarily right. Lindsay
ur so right!moshin_maxxxNovember 3 2004, 21:00:13 UTC
i agree with you a bazillion percent! i think that politics are insanely insane and well i wish that peopel worn't so blind to what is going on in society and that media wasn't so demanding of perfection, but then again what is perfection???
Tony, I just figured out why we were such good friends years ago. It was because we share the exact same political ideals and exasperations!! Wow, and after all this time, I thought it was just because we had fun on the paper route.
