Hey Burch! I hope everything works out for you and your family. As for this boy business, just remember that if he's not in your life its for a reason, no matter what that reason is. So move on and have fun, your at State for goodness sakes! Love you girl!

Yeah. same goes with my family and prolly half the people in michigan. but I definately don't think my dad will lose his job, but my mom keeps scaring me because of how shes constantly watching how much she spends and what not. If anyone should go it should prolly be the hourly workers before salary. thats how i see it.

ya...well see my dad is an hourly worker....like not on the bottom of the chain tho so i dunno...and i know so many people are being affected and that pisses me off even more...i think they should declare bankruptcy on the foreign plants...because without AMERICAN money they would not even be there...i know my dad isnt going to lose his job...but ya same here my mom is starting to get really tight with our money

it would make no sense for them to delcare bankrupcy on their foreign plants because they arnt losing money at those plants... they are losing money here. its not that they just want to cut the pay of the union workers... they have to in order to be a competitive business again... every other auto manufacturor in the U.S. pays their hourly employees anything from 8 to 16 dollars an hour... and we pay ours 65. there is no way that Delphi, or any business, could survive against competition like that. hopefully thou Delphi can form a fair agreement w/ the union concerning pay cuts so that the union workers won't lose so much of their income and Delphi won't have to go through a union strike.
