Alex is coming home

Alex is coming home tomorrow! I talked to the doctor and he's being discharged tomorrow evening. A part of me is extremely frightened that I am now responsible for this little person. Am afraid I will do so many things wrong. All those books I read just didn't prepare me for this. Am so frightened that he'll get sick or worse while in my care. I

you'll be a great mom! books don't really help either, sadly! i don't take care of my fish either, but aislynn has been around for 4 years now.

Congratulations!!!! I'm so excited for you. I know how you feel and this is big news. Don't worry about taking care of him, you'll do great. If you ever have any questions you can ask me, although I must admit I've figured nothing out yet, except that even though the books said it was too early, Jack does best on a four hour schedule. So my advice is to think of books like advice from a well meaning friend who had her own kids, but that were very different from yours. Here's hoping you get an easy going baby.
