DC Mayor, Council Members arrested in protest. My cousin was part of the protest, and she was arrested too. I know this because she posted to her Facebook about it. It amuses me to no end that the comments on her status were a bunch of her friends expressing shock and dismay, and my mother and uncles (including my cousin's father) expressing

My sister used to get arrested on a rotating basis - sometimes it was her job to show up with the bail money. :)
