I've noticed that most people treat a date like a sale (their date is the potential customer and they are the merch). So if you're an awkward and nervous mess, then do yourself a favor and just go right for the close. What is he going to say...no? Stop? Put those away? I don't think so. If you want to acquire a satisfied customer at the end of the night, just pull the rip cord. It will take your dates from "alright" to "GREAT SUCCESS".
