It was overcast and in the mid 60's today and felt like fall was here, so I spent the afternoon downtown today because I love this weather. Downtown on Sunday afternoons is great because it is practically deserted. It feels like you are wandering through a ghost town, like in the beginning of 28 Days Later. Yeah, as soon as you get away from the couple of main artery roads its dead. You can even hear your footsteps echoing off the buildings in some places. It would be a nice place to hang out if you didn't have to play dodge the seedy characters.

Columbus is actually pretty low crime rate I think. Definitely safer then Cincinnati or Cleveland. I'm just a bit paranoid. Of course, plastered all over the news that night was a story about some guy getting mugged and beaten to death that day...
