I have problems using public toilets too. I don't know if it's embarrassment or what. It's just that when it's really quite, I can't do my thing.

One time, I had one of my friends start running around the bathroom and making noises like slamming the stall doors and flushing toilets. I peed with ease, but after I was done, I realized that somebody else was in there.

So, I don't know. It might help if somebody made noise for you while you went.
