You cant see my house from the road anymore. The millet fields have completely obscured it. Rather a stark difference, all green and lush and somehow feels like an unkempt arid jungle

Do the men store millet candles in those mud huts you see in pictures? Or do they 'thresh' the millet (separate the seeds from the stem of the candle) before they put it in those mud huts?

I volunteer with an NGO in Minnesota. We are developing a simple pearl millet thresher -- but I love your describing it as a 'gin'. Great idea. Will you sell that name to me?
Could you sometime describe all the steps they go through to thresh and prepare millet for eating.
