I seem to be falling into a repeating pattern. 3 times.

I just did 500 consecutive jump ropes without messing up ONCE.

In the 7 years that I've been jump roping for excercise, I've never done that. I always mess up at least once on my way to 500. Not tonight though. I'm some kind of champion, on a small scale.

I found out just yesterday what they've been building across the street for the past year. It's going to be a complex of sorority houses. I'm not too happy about that. I was driving by on my bike and I saw a sign near the almost-finished structure that said "Future site of Sorority Row." This means not just one, but multiple sororities will soon ( Read more... )

As I laid down to sleep last night, I felt something little and sharp stab me in the back. I looked down and it was a piece of my futon.

I'm very disappointed in you, futon.

If you can't trust the bed you sleep in, who can you trust?

I should mention this, I guess. The other day, I had my bike parked underneath the stairs in the RTVF building. Apparently, you're not supposed to chain your bike to the rail underneath the stairs, that NO ONE USES. Things are good lately. I feel good about life and about myself. Today at CiCi's pizza I saw this group of kids. This group of kids was divided almost perfectly among different races and ethnicities. I was microwaving a turkey and swiss sandwich, when I noticed a peculiar odor. The smell of burning metal. I couldn't figure out what it was. My sandwich was the only thing in the m-wave, so that couldn't be it. Well, I gave up, and took my sandwich out and proceeded to eat it. What should I bite into, but a charred twisty-tie? I got another paper back in my Documentary class and it was a B too. This makes two in that class alone. Coupled with the 86 I made on my midterm in TV Crit... I think I'm slipping. I don't know what's going on. I used to be so much better with school. Something's got to change if I'm going to keep my GPA.
