What do you do when St. Patrick's Day falls on a Friday? You can't eat corned beef and cabbage, right? Maybe corned fish and cabbage instead? Enlighten me!

The pope granted a special dispensation for the archdiocese I live in (Boston) so we could have our corned beef.

I think they did the same for New York and a few other dioceses, too.
