We'll be in town for at least a few days, usually at my house--Wednesday is our estimated time of departure, but at this point who knows? The person who's supposed to pick us up is pretending to be pissed off right now, and he has this habit

I don't think he's pretending Blake (and I'm not asleep any more!).

If he weren't pretending, why would he have only shown up right after we saw Lawrence, after all those months of travel? He could've caught up with us at any time, in any place. He never meant to punish us--he wanted you to go to extreme lengths and fail. To see that it was futile.
