I was hoping to get into some of the recent topics in more depth today--especially the topic of spiritual abuse etc--but I'm basically just too sick at the moment. A variety of factors seem to have precipitated a crash in my mood, and all I can really think about is the symptoms. So I'm going to write about the depression.

I always think of "real" healers as ones who *consult* with other healers.....

Agreed. And in many of the healing professions, that sort of consultation and supervision is required.

Does a brain surgeon operate on hirself? If I was bequeathed an enormous estate, wouldn't I engage a financial advisor, antiques expert, and groundskeeper? Of course.

It's called delegation, and most of the people I know of who are successfully using their gifts do it in one way or another.
