yeah i know, they're probably still end up justifying bombing people by saying they care about them, like georgey bush and his administration really cares about the iraqi people

but yknow, it'll make a point about how we object rather than just letting them doing it while we keep silent

rawr I hate this whole thing so much. Ive been worried about them bombing since I was like 9 and now it's gonna happen. They think it's gonna be so easy and they can get in their with minimum civilian casualties but they don't know Saddam and what he will do. He will sacrifice everyone in Iraq before he gives in.

exactly! this is only gonna cause him to use any weapons that he may have left over. plus war nowadays is so sanitatised with all this 'smart bombs' that 'minimise collateral damage' (its nice how they manage to make 'killing innocent people' sound so different) but the truth is that war is still as terrible as ever, as red cross, UN humanitarian buildings, chinese embassys, family weddings etcetc have seen, especially since most the soldiers the US/UK will kill are young conscripts.

i guess the only thing now to hope for, seeing as war is most likely gonna happen, is that they manage to get rid of saddam with the least bloodshed
