Yesterday I spent 4 hours in the hospital, and suprisingly only about a half hour of that was spent in the waiting room. I got my x-rays done, and two physical exams on my foot. The doctor came to this conclusion...he said and I quote "Well, your foot isn't broken, but it's pretty well mangled." Mangled? eww. So they wrapped it up gave me cruches

mangled? Is that the technical diagnosis? I wonder what the ICD9 code is for mangled...hang on let me look it up...nope...the closest I come is mandible fx and manic depressive disorder. I'm guessing it's either 838 (Dislocation, Foot) or 845 (Sprain of ankle/foot).

Bah! That's what I get for checking LJ while processing disability claims. Expect to be out for the rest of the month...I'd say the earliest you could expect to be back is 12/18/2005...but that's just according to the Metlife Disability Database. That's what we would give you off...

Lol wow you nerd...mangled (from what he explained)= A severe sprain, if I had pulled it any further the tendant in my food would have been severely ripped or something like that...lucky me I suppose. hmmm, off til xmas huh? there's something to think about. hehe. Love you tons!!!
