I was just ranting with a friend about the social convervative/Christian fundamentalist agenda, which needless to say leaves me baffled. No matter how many abortions my neighbor gets, it has no effect on me. Two men or two women having sex next door? Doesn't affect me (unless they're really loud and I'm trying to sleep). WHY are these bogus "issues" pushed front and center in our society by the fundamentalist fringe? And when are Republicans who just believe in small government and favors for their fat-cat cronies going to defect from the ruins of their co-opted party and go be Libertarians or something?
