ever been to yahachts? i stayed there. it's where God sends the hippies who have misbehaved... no sun, rocky beaches, and a local obsession with mushrooms...

I think I visited that place when I was very small. (due to age rather than all of the other times I was very small due to plants)

The places I remember most from my later childhood and teen years are 3 Sisters, Bend and the city of Eugene/Springfield.

The lava beds in Oregon are amazing. (near Sisters?) I'll have to make a point of visiting Yahachts.

Glad the bad lands changed your life, they should have, thats my opinion anyway... And if anyone is reading this that hasn't seen them, GO NOW! they are in south dakota, right off of I-90...
