:D New chapter! (It's a bit slow compared to the first one, but set up's important!)

Oh, and learning British spy craft from Bond. Personal opinion: He's not all that good. That's rather hilarious.

I'm glad you like it. (This chapter is indeed set up, which is slightly unfortunate, I just had to stop it there because the next chance to end it was 4,000 words later.)

haha I was using Bond as a ~cultural icon more than a model spy, but I like to think of him as having a big effect on Merlin and Arthur's lives as spies.

I like it so far. Interesting without being unbelievable. In fact, the only unbelievable thing about this story is the idea of Middlesex winning at cricket.

Thank you! And you know, I was worried about that cricket thing. As an American, I know absolutely nothing about cricket at all and picked Middlesex as the team I mentioned basically by looking at a map and doing some basic Google searches and I just knew somebody was going to call me out on it. Oh well.

Loved all the details. The meeting was so Ian Fleming. I loved how Merlin got Arthur to agree to go to Berlin. I have to wonder what his game is.
