Really enjoyed that, thanks. Lovely imagery and I had tears at their encounter with Madison, still holding onto her humanity amongst all that blood and bone.

Thanks! I was really glad that I was able to fit in the scene with Madison, because I wanted them to come across at least one sympathetic monster. (Not to mention Heart is one of my favorite episodes!) Thanks so much for the comment! ♥

Thank you for a truly lovely Purgatory fic. I especially enjoyed Cas' point of view. I wish our actual Season 8 Purgatory adventures had been like that but at least I got to imagine it this way. Loved the inclusion of the Dragon and Madison. And really great ending. I liked the callback to the finale of Season 4.

I'm glad that you liked it being from Cas' POV! And it's a shame that we can't have things like dragons or wolves on the show, but I guess that's what fic is for, right? I'm glad you liked the inclusion of that line -- that was one of my favorite parts of the S4 finale.

Thanks for the feedback! ♥

What a journey and they both make it. I'm so relieved because I'm sick and tired of Cas always being left behind. I expect it from the show (tonight) but I need it here from a good story. I LOVE destiel and want it to become canon so bad even if its only revealed at the very end. I really enjoyed this thanks a bunch for writing it.

Oh man, there was no way I couldn't have it end in a happy way, especially after everything I put them through in the fic! I think I wrote the ending of this before we learned anything about what happened to Cas on the show, but I'm not that surprised that they're leaving him out in the cold again. :( I'm also sick of it.

I doubt that Dean/Cas will ever become canon, just because network TV doesn't usually allow for that, but at least we have fic to explore that possibility. I'm glad that you enjoyed the fic, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment!

This was fantastic! I read it on AO3 because it's easier for me but I actually came over here because I had to comment!

I absolutely adored the richness to their journey, and that they went through so much and it never got old or tedious; you are really good at creating tension and pretty powerful description. I loved Amy, and I looooved Madison. I find Castiel's POV to be really tricky, but I think you got it right, as well as Dean. It's tough to have these two actually talk and have it in character, I know, but you nailed it. And omg, the ending was so sweet :') ("we're making it up as we go" - ahhhh!)

ugh I wish I'd taken notes or something so I could tell you more because this fic deserves all kinds of comments! but yeah this was seriously awesome :3

I totally don't blame you for reading it on AO3. Ever since LJ changed the format of its pages I've found it kind of a pain to read stuff on here. But thanks so much for coming over here to comment!

Gosh, everything you have to say here is so sweet, thank you! I worried about it getting boring, and especially about the Amy and Madison scenes because I had to have Castiel responding to an interaction that he wasn't filled in on. I definitely know what you mean when it comes to having Dean and Cas talk -- some of my biggest edits involved changing around their conversations to make it seem realistic. A big part of Dean/Cas, for me, is their inability to communicate, so it was a careful balance.

BELIEVE ME, THIS IS AMAZING ENOUGH ALREADY. I am so overwhelmed with how thoughtful this comment is. Thank you so much! ♥

Yeah. Also I should add that I don't read all that much pre-slash (cuz if I wanted that I'd just watch the show amirite), but you did a really really good job with every aspect of their relationship and kept it interesting.

Thank you for giving it a try, then! I did try to make sure that the fic actually led somewhere so that it wasn't a whole lot of preslash for no reward, haha. 8D;;

I'm over here making flailing clapping hands and dolphin noises. This was excellent. I love your interpertation of Purgatory and their journey through it. It was complex and complcaited but I could visualize everything, which was perfect. I was curious if this was pre-slash about half way through and then you had the bit with the siren but what you put in there was so subtle, it actually added a lot of mystery to the story and made it that much more intriguing.

And the end was great. Purgatory felt like a metaphor for the Destiel relationship - all the crap they had to wade through to come out the other side as them together - and now I'm kind of tired, like I just watched an extremely emotionally exhausting episode.

It was such a pleasure to read. Thank you so much for sharing!

Well, I'm glad that you're clapping instead of crying, because I wanted people to feel hopeful when they got to the end of this! And it's such a relief to hear you could visualize stuff. I wanted to give enough detail that someone could paint a picture in their head, while still leaving some of it to imagination. And I had a lot of fun with the whole siren portion, so I'm glad you liked it!

I definitely wanted to make sure that the journey was something that they tackled together, and that they used as a way to sort out the rest of their problems with each other, so I'm glad that came across. Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to leave a comment!
