Becca, Bridget, Shawn and Mark just called Angie (since she has a 630 area code cell) and told her they are all fine and headed to Baton rouge.

Suzanne, her mother and grandmother, 7 cats, 3 dogs (300lbs + of doggies) and a pet rat and I made it to Dallas. We are all fine and staying with a cousin of her Mothers for the time being. Thank you for your well wishes and know our hearts go out to you as well.

Good luck all, just drove about the city and we seem to be mainly closed. The insane people at our corner store are opening at 7 AM tomorrow and staying as long as possible. They have a ton of water and didnt raise their prices - nice folks, but a bit crazy. I invited the owner and his family that runs the place to our house if they get flooded out ( Read more... )
