Since her eventful day on Monday, Aleida had been sticking to the safety of her room, the kitchens, her classes, and now the library. Thanks to Phoebe, she was able to find her way around the school with ease. Now she was taking one of the longest possible routes to her room, but if she wasn't mistaken, these halls were always underused. With any luck, she wouldn't run into either of the girls she was trying to avoid. The books in her arms were growing heavy, but she managed, adjusting them now and then before finally just hugging them to her chest. Always one to study, she had picked up a few books on literature, as well as the syllabus and was now going back to her room to skim over everything before class ( ... )

Now really, that was a bit harsh. They weren't exactly banning together to befriend her, they just wanted everyone to feel at home at Xavier's, not to mention they were all three just plain friendly. Ever since they met all those years ago, they gotten the reputation of being the friendly bunch. A name that they liked to live up to.

And yes, they were determined to make her feel right at home, and to gain her friendship to boot. They never thought that they came on too strong, oh no. Maybe it would have been better had they eased into the whole thing, but, it just wasn't their way. So, Tristian plowed on.

When she bumped into him, he didn't let anything register on his face, just in case she would get the wrong idea. Any facial expression could be interpreted as grouchy, mean, or a slew of other things that Tristian was most deffinately not. He did, however, bend down to help her pick up her things, and his eyes happened over an item with her handprint embedded in it. "Hey, don't worry about it. Completely my fault. I guess I ( ... )

[Ivy! Sorry about the double repost! I found errors and rewrote some things that sounded silly! XD Anyway, you'll probably want to reread it! <33]

Okay, so perhaps banning together was a bit of an overstatement. After all, Phoebe had decided all on her own to show Aleida around the school! There was no conspiring there, unlike between Kase and Tristian. Though perhaps it was the best. Kase had made quite a few valid points the previous day; everyone needed people that they belonged with, especially mutants. And as much as Aleida wished she wasn't, she was a mutant. Perhaps she did need a friend or two, and maybe all three of their actions wouldn't be in vain ( ... )

The three of them, that is to say, Clockwork, Kas, and Phoebe, just had minds that thought alike. After all, all of them were in the mental PC class together, so they had that much in common. Plus, they had stuck together since they had first met, and after all those years together, they were bound to start thinking alike. So yes, banning together wasn't the right word for it at all ( ... )
