Reason: Stalking Catching up with big brother

What a long first day this one had been! Kase sighed heavily as she wandered idly through the halls just before nine. She'd eaten dinner and had even showered and changed into her pajamas, thinking she'd try to get some sleep early. The only trouble was, she simply couldn't sleep. And so she'd taken to wandering the halls, still in her pajamas (which were powder blue pants and a button down top with little puppies scampering about on them) with no real destination or purpose in mind.

She chatted here and there with a few of the other students wandering about; they were all rather used to the sight of a sleepless Kase wandering the school in her pajamas at all hours. In fact, they'd seen her in much more bizarre attire so the pajamas were really rather tame and almost normal in comparison.

Finally she decided that she ought to find Tristian. They had not yet had a good chance to really talk and catch up since they'd gotten back to school. Not to mention that she remembered last night at the welcoming, it had seemed like he'd really wanted to talk about the news of what had occurred before the new school year had started. And anyone who knew Kase knew that she never let Tristian wander around without talking about things that were on his mind. Plus she could really use some advice on some smaller problems of her own, and there was no one else's advice she valued as much as Tristian's.

She thought briefly of going to his room, but knowing Tristian he was not yet there for the night. She continued to wander the halls, putting out her senses and trying to find his mind among all those at the school. This was a skill she'd been practicing, though she had nowhere near perfected it. She focused all her thoughts on her friend and did her best to shut out everyone else. It took her a few moments, but she finally came to the conclusion that he was not inside. Which meant one thing: he was someplace outside.

She smiled and headed for the door, making her way outside (yes, barefoot) and down toward the fountain in the courtyard. There were only so many places outside where he could go, after all, and after so many years she knew him and his habits pretty well. She grinned when she spotted him and without a word, she made a beeline for him and plopped down on the fountain wall beside him, "Some first day back, huh?"
