Reason: Because I need some sort of BX thread this week. Because UGH thunderstorms and UGH being locked indoors. *SIGH*
Kase sat in one of the student lounges, staring at the ceiling and trying to count the tiles. Being trapped inside because of the storm was so boring; she was sure that at any moment, she was going to simply roll over and die of boredom. Well, that was perhaps an exaggeration, but after approximately four hours of lounging around in the mansion after her biology class had ended, she felt like being dramatic about it.
She was tired of being surrounded by people and all of their thinking with no escape in sight. She didn't want to just sit in her room and study for all this time. The school year had barely begun; she simply didn't have enough homework for something like that.
She sighed heavily, losing count yet again thanks to the intrusion of another student's random thoughts. "Why can't Professor Munroe just make it go away already?" she muttered under her breath to herself. She didn't really need to go outside, of course, but because they were forbidden, it made things a lot more crowded in the mansion, and Kase was getting a headache from all the stray thoughts seeping into her head.
She stretched out on her chosen sofas, lolling her head against the back and reached an arm up to idly touch the wall behind her. Bored, bored, bored! And still another hour before Statistics... not that that class will help any, but at least then I can have something to at least pretend to pay attention to. She started counting the tiles again, this time out loud, "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven..."
