Reason: Torturing Jacob is fun Hector needs to be fed
Mei had sent Jacob a message to tell him where the lettuce was. Despite the fact that he adored his best friend to pieces, he did have to admit she was forgetful at times... especially when it concerned her little bunny that she kept in her room. Luckily for her, and for Hector the bunny, Jacob was pretty responsible and usually fed him everyday when he had the chance. Mei was smart though - keeping the lettuce in her room. If Jacob had to fight one of his fellow students for lettuce in the kitchen, it wouldn't have been pretty. No, more than likely, it would have resulted in bruises when Jacob fell backwards from tugging on the bag containing the head of lettuce and lettuce leaves would be everywhere.
With note in hand, he knocked on her bedroom door just out of politeness. Of course, he knew no one was inside -as he heard no one inside- but he wasn't about to barge in with other students watching. He made his way to Mei's dresser and opened the top drawer to search of the lettuce. Instead, he found... panties? He squinted and made a face. Maybe the lettuce was underneath and she just tossed her personal items in the drawer as well. He gulped and started to dig. This was not a pretty sight. Well, of course, they were pretty, but he didn't want to see them. Now, where was that lettuce?????
