So was just in my first car accident ever. Thank God no one was hurt, but man it was a scary experience! It didn't help that my parents couldn't come, and that I had both my sisters with me. Fortunately, some of my friends' parents saw and pulled over to help me, and even drove my car back home because I couldn't. I'm so glad they were there ( Read more... )

Thank heavens you're okay!! You want to have your car checked anyway, though--a good whack like that can knock off the alignment! And I hope you got this bozo's insurance number!

Thank you! I was definitely gonna have it checked, better safe than sorry, right? And I did get his insurance info too. He was actually pretty nice about it.

oh man. the first wreck is always the most nerve wracking. *hugs tight* i'm glad no one was hurt and that your car is okay. even though it's still drivable, you should probably have your alignment checked, though; sometimes that gets just a bit off in a collision like that and it can really mess up your driving and your gas mileage.

*hugs back* Thanks! It was really stressful, but everyone was really nice, including the police and the other guy.

OMG I hope your car didn't get some kind of mysterious internal damage from it. That would be the worst, be sure to get it checked out just in case.

But I'm glad you're okay! Stuff like that always reminds us how much worse it could have been. Well, it reminds ME, at any rate.

Friends will show up at the weirdest times to help you out. It makes no sense, but I swear, it's absolutely true.

I'm pretty sure all the damage was cosmetic, but I was going to get it checked out anyways.

I'm glad we were okay too, and I'm so grateful for my friends. :)

Oh geeze I'm glad you're okay, a car crash is always a horrible experience, even if you're not physically hurt. :( Did you get the guy who rammed your car's number so that you could arrange legal stuff, or at least catch their license plate?

It was scary, especially since it was my first. The other Guy pulled over too, and it turned out he knew my parents, so we did exchange information. He was actually pretty good about it.
