there are few things in life better than:

• gallon jugs of wine
• the beach
• a cooler full of jello shots
• spontaneous (and mobile!) food parties
• free rock shows

some dude seriously called my work yesterday, ranting about how much jerry garcia hated commercialism and how tacky we were for naming our restaurant after his band. and then, before my co-worker could even respond, he hung up.

pretty funny, considering they're one of the top grossing touring acts of all time.

lil' p turned 22 yesterday. it's hard to believe it's been an entire year since the "no pants pennell" incident.

she was completely wasted when i left her last night. here's to hoping the "get in the car right now or i'm gonna call wayne pennell" approach worked as well for her friends as it did for you, carmen.
