Alright.  So here's the story on DC:

Left Monday morning, and drove 7 hours up to Williamsburg, VA.  Spent the night there, then the next morning drove up to Langely AFB to visit my cousin, her husband, and their new baby.  Spent most of the day there, got to drive around the base and see the Norfolk Naval Base.  Both were impressive.  After supper ( Read more... )

I'm back. The trip was great. I'll write more about it whenever I get the pictures up.

Two things:

-Driving at night listening to the Dave CD is amazing. I'd recommend doing it...

-I splashed 350 degree (not exagerating, that's the actual temp) oil on my face at work tonight. I've never been in so much pain. But luckily all it left were red marks on my face, so it more or less blends in.

So today was pretty good. Ran some errands with the fam, got new shoes for the first time in two years, bought the new Dave and Fall Out Boy cd's, had dinner with someone I hadn't seen in a while, lost to my brother in a board game, and went to Roasters. Hiking last Friday...

Well, just letting everyone know, I'm working Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sat from 4-close (11ish), so I probably won't be updating anytime soon.

I needed tonight.

This next I'm week I'm taking off to branch out. I'm taking the week off from hanging out with the usual crowd to either hang out with people one on one or with people I normally don't see, or both, and so far its been very rewarding.
