Partisian gain
First: I don't give a shit about partisian gain. Not one flying fuck. What I do give a shit about is people dying when they could have lived.
Second: When the reason that they died is because someone or some group of people that was responsible for their security did a very poor job at protecting them from a threat that was known about in advance, I get pissed.
Third: When I am pissed I then talk to others about what i consider to be self-evident injustices. I provide sources to read, starting points for aditional research, opinions of others.
It's time to drop the partisian gain rhetoric and defend the accusations. I wanna see some evidence that the Bush administration and the local government did all that they could to prepare for this disaster and to provide aid afterwards. Then I'll shut up about this, but until that happens, or someone is reprimanded, I'm still pissed.
