It's interesting getting to read an interpretation of John's relationship with his sister. This is nicely written and the difficult topics are sensitively handled. Well done!

Great chapter. I loved how John dealt with Harry- already knowing where to find her stash from previous times and from their father. I also liked the bit about guaging blame by how many times their dad, or Harry, hit someone. Not a pretty picture of John's childhood, but it makes it all the more remarkable that he's so loyal and caring and that he's not quick to lash out at people.

Will he let Sherlock help, though? It seems like Harry has a hard road ahead of her, though it may be well trodden, but she won't be able to depend on Clara to help this time, so John will be her only support. It's going to be tough on him.
