That really sucks. Condolences...you should come out on Saturday and have a drink for her. And bring the boy. Give me a shout, as I would definitly like to see you there. Hope your alright, I know how much you loved that thing...laters
Thank you. I'm not meaning to come off as rude. But I am rather sensitive to how she is referred to. She was an amazing character, had a personality all her own, was greatly loved, and will be badly missed. To call her a 'thing' makes her come ascross as less then who she was.
I'm so sorry to hear. Losing a pet well loved is always a difficult thing. Putting down my dog of many years was one of the hardest choices I had to make.
My sympathies to you. I know how hard it is to put down a much loved pet. I took comfort in knowing we did the right thing when we put Loki down, he'd been suffering for too long. Please take comfort in the fact she is no longer suffering. *hugs*
I do. She looked so horribly uncomfortable, and kept growling. I don't know how much pain she was in, but she was obviously living in extreme fear, and she'd suddenly lost the ablility to really move. I feel I did all I could, but I'm still sorry I couldn't do more.
She really was. I keep expecting her to come trotting around the corner and demand my attention. A little while ago, she spent an entire afternoon just lying on my lap. She just adjusted everytime I had to move her, unless I got up to leave. I miss her.
