Indeed. Microsoft word can be a bugger, but ive found out that Word Pad definetly has less use friendly features and compatability with our teacher assignment requisites.. like persay.. a DOUBLE SPACE FEATURE?

LaTeX forever!!

What is wrong with word? If you insist on something different, you could try OpenOffice.org, but it is pretty much the same, minus the excessive price tag. Would you rather just write everything by hand? Eff that ess. Word rocks, and so does notepad.

Notepad does have redeeming qualities.

If you're reffering to my disgruntledness towards WordPad, then its generally because it lacks a format tab. I give props to Microsoft word for having all basic functions, with only a little bit of aggravation...

...damn animated paper clips! They don't know the answers to life!

overall I like word or at least get along with it, but we've had arguements lately. Mainly with that autoformat crap. It likes to randomly decide everything should be formatted halfway through a paper. It's even worse when the teacher makes you use a template. grrr...templates

haha, well im not sure what version. I spoke out of high temper, since then we have made amends. It was mostly because we had to use templates for doing a resume in LA and I hate working with those templates. Mostly because it is nearly impossible to add new sections or do something in a way other than what the template specifies without taking forever to get it right and not have word "correct" it afterward.

I find its easier to do the formatting myself, because I'm a control freak with computers.
