Shinji was walking through the common lounge on the way back to his room when he heard muffled shouting. Pausing, and wondering if someone had decided to start yet another fight, he looked at doors, trying to figure out whose room it was coming from. He sighed when he located the room. 'Kawamura-san...I should've known.'

However, because he was a little bored--and a little concered--Shinji knocked on Taka's door. "Kawamura-san? Is everything all right in there? You're getting...loud...again. Is there anything I can help with?"

Somewhere, deep inside, he heard a small voice screaming at him as he waited for a response.

Hearing the knock at the door, Taka dropped the frying pan that would, one day, probably feed the world. He shuffled awkwardly over to the door, his injured toe still bothering him.

Opening the door, he smiled at Shinji. "Ah...Ibu-san!" he said happily. "Are you coming to the Iron Chef party?"

Shinji was just able to suppress a sigh of relief at seeing a nice, normal Taka in front of him. "A party? Is that whatI heard?"

He smiled while weighing his options. On one hand, Inui was waiting for him to come back, but on the other, Taka was a nice guy, looked like he wanted the company, and it wasn't like Inui wouldn't be able to find him if he got worried.... Shinji made his decision.

"Of course I'm coming to the Iron Chef pary. It sounds like fun, Kawamura-san."

Taka nodded and moved aside to allow Shinji to enter, his eyes unable to retain any other shape other than that of a horseshoe.

"I'm hoping more people show up!" he said, fiddling with the doorknob. "If enough people decide to come, I plan on...cooking something."

The last two words echoed in the room a few times with an evil sort of aura to them as the frying pan on the floor shifted and fell into a different position. Taka glanced down at it. "That was funny..." he laughed awkwardly. "That kind of happened out of nowhere!"
