Now I've got a longer commute, I have the unfortunate task of dealing with the other drivers on the road. Twice this week I've had near misses because it seems some drivers can't read the road markings on the roundabout and think they can just come into the space I'm occupying.

That is why I refuse to drive & refuse to shut my eyes (other then to blink) when in a car.

I can see how that roundabout could get confusing though.
Looks like you'd be taking the next exit after the 'beeeep' anyway so you may as well stay in the right hand lane for the exit and save your self some bother :)
