Why is it that being honest feels so damn shitty? If I'm not honest to myself or to others then I am a hypocrit. On the other hand, when I am honest about how I feel somehow deep down I feel shallow and wrong

OK, though I am not sure what you are talking about, I am one who thinks that one should always be honest. It may hurt, it may suck, but it is the right thing to do. I hope things get a bit better for you. The rain clouds have to pass sometime, hun. Take it easy.

honesty is the only way to go...no one ever got any where by denying how they felt or what they thought, and that is very respectable.

This is so true Nathan! It is hard to remember that sometimes the truth hurts (sometimes yourself or sometimes others) I just don't like to make people sad - it's never my intention.

True it's their problem but contrary to my bitchy persona I'm a pretty feely person and never like to see someone get their feelings hurt - even if it's unintentional.
