only if they are available on a network other than AT&T.... switching off verizon is not a realistic option atm :)

The advantage AT&T gives us is the GSM working in Europe and such. Its been very convenient on multiple occasions for both of us. ;)

I definitely can't blame you for not wanting to leave Verizon, they're definitely the best domestic carrier as far as I'm concerned.

considering that our mac mini has been a brick for almost 2 weeks, after the last time we let it install upgrades and reboot (or not)... i'd say, when satan ice-skates to work. :(

I'm not sure why you've had such bad Mac luck. :( I have a mini that's been working fine, and I've finally started using it a bit more recently, now that I actually have a monitor to plug into it. ;) And I've never had a problem with my Powerbook, aside from the fact that I've been too stuborn to upgrade it beyond 10.3.9, so that create problems with newer apps. *sigh*
