I was thinking about this the other day, and I always wonder about how people use their computers. I have two computers I use frequently, my personal computer I have the list on the left, my work computer I have the list on the right. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the OS on them or not, since they're different.

AIM is on the right (longest used IM - because it just seemed RIGHT); Skype in the middle; MSM on the left
Because none of those we IM with can agree on the same software
So we can see them all at the same time (when multi-tasking)
Did I answer the questions?? OH, Vista on notebook and XP on desktop - but locations are the same.

Well, that's why most people have a third-party IM client that handles multiple services... Skype is a special one, that I don't think there is a third party client that supports it. So you actually have to have their program.

If I am using a true client, then it is on the lower right. gmail integrated chat I don't count. the chat windows end up on the left side for the most part....
