Jeremy is so lucky he doesnt have to work
my sister got a job at the shipyard
but not what she told me she was going to get

I wanted to say "told you so"
but I think that I am a bit too old to still be tattled on by my older sister

What job did she think she was going to get? And what did she actually get?

we got in an argument about whether or not she could get a $22/hour job starting off and I told her she couldnt
and then she said she was going to get higher than a helper position then she got hired in the helper position as a painter at 14 bucks

Everyone starts at $14 unless you've been in the Navy already.. Even if you higher in as an Apprentice, you still only make $14.21.

She won't be making 22/hour until she's been there for about 5 years.

Painters are the absolute worst position in the shipyard though, I hate to say.

I know, I would never want to be a painter its not worth it to me anyway
and the other stuff I was trying to tell her that but she wouldn't believe me.
she doesn't realize that half my friends work in the shipyard or for the government and I know better, she was just trying to rub some bs in my face thinking I wouldn't know any better
